  Tree Planting

Understanding different species in terms of strategic requirements and their growth rates, soil conditions and of course, understanding what was in the minds eye of the customer.

  Pruning

The controlled removal of parts of a tree to a detailed specification with the intention of managing the tree or risks associated with that tree while also leaving the tree in a viable and healthy condition.

  Dismantling

Sectional dismantling of trees in pieces including using lowering devices in order to complete the removal of the tree with minimal collateral damage.

  Bracing

Provision of a mechanical support designed to limit structural stress on a particular branch or a morphologically weak feature. It can also mean using a fixing to secure two parts of a tree that were touching and wounding each other.

  Stump Removal

Three broad options exist. Stumps can be removed by excavation or they can be ground up in situ by a stump grinder, or there are various excavator mounted stump cutters. Each have their relative merits and demerits. An experienced Arborist can advise which is likely to be the most cost effective for you.

  Hedge Cutting

Trimming or reducing hedges is something that requires an understanding of hedgerow plants in order to maintain good health of the hedge and to minimise adverse effects on wildlife in or periodically visiting the hedge.

Wood Recycling Chipping, Logging and Bio Mass

Recycling is very popular already but the test of a modern tree contractor is to try to utilise and sell everything that is produced as a bi-product of the tree surgery and tree felling operations. The approaches are many and innovation a pre-requisite, but effective recycling and creation of products from what a few years ago would have been waste, is an emerging cornerstone of modern efficient Arboricultural companies.
